Teller’s Illustration of Shadows in 1983 Copyright Office Filing
This picture might be the reason why Teller is successful in his lawsuit to protect his “Shadows” illusion. It comes from his filing with the Copyright Office in 1983. According to the Hollywood Reporter’s law blogger, it’s the reason Teller has a better chance of winning a case like this than 99 percent of other magicians who are not as meticulous in filing for protection in the correct manner.
Note the name that Teller assigns himself in the diagram.
